Small and new 3PLs

Starting a 3PL? Start with the right-sized software

A new or small 3PL has few staff, a handful of clients and little patience for a six-month rollout. Here is how to think about software at that size.

We make Cargohold, so we are not neutral. Facts about other products come from their public pages and are dated.

Small is a real category

Software for a ten-person 3PL is not a shrunk-down version of what a national network buys. The choices differ: you need fast setup, clear pricing, and room to grow, but you cannot spend months on rollout.

These pages look at software through that lens. We say plainly that we make Cargohold, and where a page recommends anything it tells you why and when we looked.
